A room with a virtual view

No matter how dark a winter, no matter how grey a concrete city. Now you can always have a private window to a beautiful tropical hawaiian sunrise with crashing surf, amazing waterfalls or stunning sunsets. The Sky Factory has specialized in designing ceilings and windows that create the illusion of a sky above or view outside for their customers.

The new escape windows are high tech illusions that can carry nature and scenic views to any room in the world.  The technology behind the escape windows is a full HD LCD display that presents hours of crisp and clear footage embedded in a full-size casement windowand. According to Sky Factory the hour long films are captured by nature loving artists who envision “a world wherein the pristine beauty of nature is brought inside, where fine art and technology help to deliver the peace and balance that come from authentic experience of the depths of nature.”

No doubt this would be perfect for hospitals and healthcare. For hotel rooms without windows or how about prisons cells?

Philips has done something simular with hotel rooms. See our hotel room of the future article.
