The Mac in you – which one?

Apple has never been more ‘now’ than it is these days, and all of the sudden we all find ourselves craving the iPhone, iPad, a new iPod – or we simply can’t live without ‘the Mac’. Some say we all have a Mac in us, question is: which one are you?

Let’s start with the Elektronista Fashionista – only one thing is good enough for her: the hottest, most chic, Apples latest – the iPad. Not just a laptop, not just a smartphone – with its wireless internet or 3G, its build-in browser, mail client, touch screen and almost endless options from the Appstore, all in a chic and cool design, this is Fashionista’s deepest desire. Not a real Mac, some might say, but even so, the iPad is the new black in Apple tech – enough said.

Are you more of an Elektronista Work-a-holic? Thank God (or Apple?) for the MacBook Air – with its only 1.36 kg this baby is light enough for you to bring it everywhere with you, so you really never have to leave work. It might not be very powerful – or very cheap for that matter – and it only has one USB port and no DVD drive, but it allows you to work wherever you are, so if work is your poison, this is the Mac you want.

The Elektronista Creative– know her? Maybe you are her. If so, you may already have figured out which Mac you are, and chances are you’ve got one. It’s really kinda obvious – your creative urge to manipulate and play with photos and edit videos makes you forget time and place for hours, or days even, and for that you need a powerhouse, so the Mac in you will have to be the MacBook Pro with its 4 GB memory, 250-500 GB hard drive and no less than 2 graphics cards – this baby gets the work done.

Last but not least, The Elektronista Communicationista – she has a laptop of course, and there is a good chance she has an iPad to, but Communicationista’s most important tool (in lack of a better word) is a lot smaller and something she can bring with her no matter how small a bag she is carrying. Communicating is as important to her as water and air, so you may have guessed it – Communicationista is the iPhone. Facebook, Twitter, email, sms, mms and the occasional phone call … the list goes on and on, and iPhone is with you all the way – it won’t let you down. All you need? Maybe not, but do you need it? Yes – definitely yes.

The list is longer – way longer – ‘cause really, Apple can satisfy close to any Elektronista.  And they do. But some say that once you go Apple, you can’t go back, and there might be just a tiny bit truth to that. Not that it’s impossible to break the Apple sekt but many a geek has found it to be quite a challenge.

But don’t get scared now! Being a true Elektronista you are quite able to make the right choices for yourself.

So the final question is – which Mac are you?
