Could yellow be the new green?
We’ve all heard the saying that goes “When Life gives you lemons… make lemonade!” right? Well apparently, if Life gives you lemons, with some water and a small price tag, you could also have yourself a fully functioning clock!
Bedol offers an eco-friendly clock that runs on natural tap water and a splash of natural lemon juice only—no batteries or electricity required. Filling up the tank once means the clock is good to run for 8 to 12 weeks before you have to change the water. It even has a built-in memory chip so you don’t lose time while performing this little task!

Samsung calls it the “holy green grail” of gadgets. A bit over the top, but we do admit it looks like good news. The new Blue Earth touchscreen phone can be powered by the sun, it is partially made out of recycled water bottles and it does not have the toxic substances found in many other electronics. A large solar panel on the back of the device taps the power of le soleil and will actually fully charge the extremely energy efficient phone. The manufacturer also plans to incorporate solar cells into their entire product line in the future.
