Take a nap and feel great about it

Powernapping is a great way to get an energy boost and rejuvenate during a busy day. New research out of UC Berkeley suggests that an hour’s nap can recharge the brain and actually restore brain power.
At the Google offices in Mountain View California this is how they do it. It is called an EnergyPod and it has build in headphones that can eliminate any sound coming from outside the capsule. The user can set a timer for a gentle wake up with dimp lights and soft vibration.

Your sunday morning paper?

With the iPad and other E-readers flowing into our lives other things might be leaving it for good. Like the classic newspaper. Many of us have already skipped the printed paper only to read our news online. But some of the E-readers look like they could actually be bringing back the “sunday- morning- cup of coffee- with newspaper” moment. Just don’t spill the coffee on it. We are still waiting to see a developement in coffee proff electronics.

Oprah runs “no phone” campaign

When Oprah is telling us not to dial and drive we just have to listen. There is a pledge and when even crazy celebs like Punk’d twitter king Ashton Kutcher is endorsing it, it might be time to commit and make the roads safer with a “phone free zone” in your car!

Eco notepad takes inspiration from toy

The creative people at Quirky have used a classic toy The Magic Drawing Slate as inspiration to innovation. They bring us the Scratch-n-Scroll mousepad! It works as a regular mousepad but also comes with a writing surface similar to that of the Magic Slate. We’ve all had those moments when we’re on the phone or working at the desk and can’t seem to find a pen to take down a phone number or a note, right? Now all you have to do is use your finger or the built-in stylus! To erase, simply flip up the semi-transparent top sheet and tah-dah! You’re good to go again.

Could yellow be the new green?
We’ve all heard the saying that goes “When Life gives you lemons… make lemonade!” right? Well apparently, if Life gives you lemons, with some water and a small price tag, you could also have yourself a fully functioning clock!

Jon Stewart kicks some Apple bootie

Comedian Jon Stewart from the daily show gives Apple a hilarious and valid lecture. Since recently losing the new iPhone 4G  (in a bar!)
