We thought it was a joke, but ohhh noo it’s not. Paris Hilton is launching a new hair brush that looks more like a Barbie porcupine. Go ahead and watch this video so sweet and pink your teeth might hurt. But who is so crazy about pink that a commercial like this will make them buy something?

iPod meets Lego and breeds make up kit

Make up wants to be like iPhone

In order to reach women with their gadgets, tech companies have for years desperately been trying to take inspiration from traditional women’s products such as fashion and make up. We have seen a fair share of lip stick shaped mobile phones, bling bling pink lap tops and enough flowers spread across electronics to give us an allergic reaction.

Today when shopping for shampoo at my local drugstore, I realized that the tables are now turning. The beauty industry is now copy catting electronics to reach women.
